Look, Confidence, Action!
A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to be featured at an online summit where I was one of several experts talking to entrepreneurs about owning the spotlight as leaders in business.
A question I was asked was: "What does being a "business celebrity" mean to you?"
So here's my take.
When you see someone on stage delivering a speech, or a celebrity on a magazine, there’s something else behind their delivery and appearance that’s catching your eye and keeping you engaged. It’s something else people don’t necessarily pay attention to and that is:
Confidence and strength
Confidence, strength, and appearance all go hand and hand. Each one fuels the other, and if one is off, then everything else can be thrown off as well.
If you find yourself in need of a confidence and strength boost to really show up as the leader you want to be, try asking yourself if you are working towards feeling better and developing that confidence and strength through your wellness routine.
For example, first take a moment to figure out where the easiest place for you to start can be, then, pick from one of the following to focus on throughout your week:
Getting enough sleep
Eat nutritiously dense foods that fuel your body instead of bring you down
Move your body in ways that are fun, different, yet challenging.
The good news is that once you get going, you can do it at any rate you choose (slow and methodical, or fast and furious) and still see and feel the changes along the way. Once you get going down the path of feeling better, the confidence and strength builds, leading you to take action in ways that matter to you, your business, and your life.
How about you? Are you in the process of building up your strength and confidence to improve your actions in business?
Remember, when you physically start to feel good, you look good. That fuels your confidence to take action and to perform.
Look, Confidence, Action.
