Hello 2020! Positively Transform Your Body
I’M BACK! Hello everyone!
I know it’s been several months since my last newsletter, but after I had my son (via unplanned c-section), I needed some time off to heal and to adjust to motherhood. I definitely underestimated the amount of time that it would take before I would have the capacity to think and to work again and I have a new found respect for any woman who returns to work full time after only a very short period of time off after having a baby. It is quite the adjustment to say the least, but that is a topic for another day.
As we go into 2020, I realize that this number has a duel meaning: We can all look back on the year, and say things like this on repeat:
Well if only I had done this, or if only I had done that,
if I only I didn’t eat so badly this year
I wish I could have lost more weight
If only I could have more time to workout
Sound familiar? Well, there’s a phrase that can be applied to this: “hindsight is 2020”. It’s easy for us to pass judgement on ourselves regarding what we did do or didn’t do, should have done, or should not have done, once time has passed (even I am a culprit of this self-imposter syndrome). But it is important to remember that we make decisions in the moment based on the information we have at that moment. So, as we go into the year 2020, I encourage you to reflect on the past year in a positive way and with gratitude. Sure, maybe you did not accomplish all that you wanted (I definitely didn’t….having a baby puts a little wrinkle into things, wouldn’t you say?) But focus on the things that you did do, and compliment yourself for taking those steps, no matter how small they might have seemed.
With a new year, comes an influx of a renewed sense of energy, revitalization, and vitality, that when put together with positive reinforcement, can lead to powerful strides forward in whatever ways that you choose. It’s amazing how just the simple act of being in a positive mindset can have on one’s outward appearance. I challenge you to stay positive during those moments of self-deprecation and self judgement and see how you can manifest that energy into actions & changes that you want to make towards transformation and actually achieve the results you desire and can sustain.
ACHIEVE RESULTS
True transformation is rooted in changing lifelong habits and my fitness and wellness programs can get you there. Whether you want to lose weight for good, feel less sluggish, think more clearly, look amazing in those new jeans, my programs will guide you to make those small consistent shifts that lead to sustainable results.
As you head into 2020, I would love to personally invite you to book a consult with me where I will help you clarify what is missing in your fitness and health regimen. You may already be on a role, but I can help you identify the key ingredients that are missing and are causing you stagnation. Benefits of this consult include:
Identify the WHY that is causing you to stagnate and not see the changes you are seeking
Learn HOW to actually move better and implement the changes that will lead you to transformation
Learn WHAT you actually need to incorporate into your fitness and wellness plan, and receive plausible action plans for you to choose from that fit into your life
In addition, I will include a complimentary 10min live virtual workout when you sign up for your consult!
Limited spots available, so reserve your spot and let’s get movin’!
NEW YEAR TIPS
Start 2020 off with an influx of positive energy on what you will accomplish during this next trip around the sun, and to get started, here are a few tips:
MAKE INTENTIONS NOT RESOLUTIONS: Try to make things easier on yourself. Don’t make resolutions, make intentions instead! You will be more likely to back up an intention with an action, than you would a resolution because intentions have meaning behind them. If you feel like you failed one day, make an intention to try again the next day.
WHY: one of my pillars in working with clients is finding out why you are not getting to where you want to be. Face this head on and confront your reality. Find your why, and then you can begin to take steps forward in an effective way.
COMMIT: figure out what your realistic commitment is: whether it’s working out 3x/week for 30min, or getting a full 8hrs of sleep per night, or working in meditation 5min a day. Ask yourself: What CAN I do? And then COMMIT to it. You will be surprised at how much you can actually accomplish with just that simple mindset!
Cheers to a prosperous, happy, and healthy 2020! I look forward to supporting you and being in your corner while offering you effective solutions along the way!
